Imogene Clayton Martin, 99, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at her home.

She was born on March 8, 1919 in Madisonville to the late Maria and Alvis Clayton. Imogene was a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Martin; sons, Robert Eugene Martin, Daniel Franklin Martin I and Norman Keith Martin; and infant daughter, Shirley Dean Martin; sisters, Anna Mae Morrow, Mary Lou Porter and Ninadell Clayton; brothers, Raymond Louis Clayton, Lester Franklin Clayton, Cody Elgin Clayton, Morris Clayton and Falcom Olear Clayton; daughter-in-law, Peggy J. Martin; and a granddaughter, Angela R. Holt.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Arlene Martin, Roy Martin, Daniel F. Martin II, Megan Martin, Detina Martin, Denise Helton, Michael Martin and Deborah Barge; fifteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Kenneth Blevins officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Kenneth Porter, Jr., Alexus Martin, Erik Martin, Roy Evan Martin, Cody Autry and Troy Hardy.

Memorial contributions may be made in Imogene's memory to the Salem Primitive Baptist Church.
