Helen Lewis-MADISONVILLE, KY.
Helen Lewis, 97, of Madisonville, died at 12:53 a.m. Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville, Ky.
She was born September 18, 1911, in Hopkins County, Ky., to the late Sallie Roberts and Willie Carroll Lewis. She was a housewife. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Madisonville, Ky.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Martin of Hopkinsville, Ky. and Debbie Light and Dennis Light of Bethel Park, PA.; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, with William E. Brinkley officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, Ky. Pallbearers will be Alex Light, Rob Lockwood, Nick Cannon, Jim Eaves and Ralph Mitchell.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home.
