Helen Dolato's Obituary
Helen Dolato, 85, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at her home.
She was born on March 5, 1931 in Drakesboro, KY to the late Maudie Jane Reeves and Rose Ashley Reeves. Helen was formerly a waitress at Condes Restaurant in Whiting, IN. She loved cooking and taking care of her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Dolato; brothers, Marvin Reeves, Melvin Reeves, Edward Reeves, Floyd Reeves and Ernest Reeves; and sisters, Nora Arnold, Mildred Arnold, Nellie McFarland and Katie DeLong.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Sabol of Crawfordsville, IN; sons, James Dolato of Hammond, IN and Daniel Dolato of Dickinson, TX; sisters, Pauline Brown of Valparaiso, IN and Mary Hardison of Madisonville, who took care of Helen until her last days; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Per Helen's request there will be no services. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care. Burial will be at a later date.
