Harold McGlothlin, 79, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at his home.

He was born on April 22, 1938 in Boonville, IN to the late, Ilene and Herbert McGlothlin.
Harold was a member of Park Ave Avenue Baptist Church. He was formerly employed with CSX Railroad. Harold enjoyed doing yard work at the home he built and he was always helping others with home repairs but his greatest love was spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Keith McGlothlin.

Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Martha McGlothlin; sons, Brian McGlothlin and wife, Byrony of Austin, TX, Barry McGlothlin of Georgetown, IN and Kevin McGlothlin and wife, Melanie of Madisonville; daughters, Ilene Griffy and husband, Kinneth of Mt. Washington, KY and Pamela McGlothlin of Madisonville; sister, Debbie Whitaker of Chandler, IN; brothers, Jerry McGlothlin of Laguna Nigel, CA and Herbie McGlothlin of Kokomo, IN; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Lynn Young officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville. The pallbearers are the grandsons.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
