Harold Francis Jessie Jr., 63, of Madisonville, KY. passed away at 3:12 a.m. Thursday June 17, 2010 at his home.

He was born on March 19, 1947 in Niskayuna, N.Y. to the late Harold Francis Jessie Sr. and Janeth Hotaling Jessie. He worked at Aramark and was a member of Lutheran Church in New York. He loved music and enjoyed stock car racing, go cart racing and bicycle racing. He was an avid dirt track race fan since childhood.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Pitcher Jessie; one daughter, Ann Marie Purce of Madisonville; two sons, Mike Jessie of Island, KY. and Brett Jessie of Madisonville; two sisters, Mildred Mattison of Berne, NY. and Sharon Seidl of Syosset Long Island, N.Y.; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday June 21, 2010 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Dr. Michael Knight officiating.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. until service time Monday at Harris Funeral Home.
