Grace Cunningham Messamore, 75, of Ormond Beach, FL formerly of Madisonville, KY passed away at 3:35 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2012.

She was born on September 15, 1936 in Madisonville, KY to the late Elmer Cunningham and Flora Cates Cunningham. She was a homemaker and attended Primitive Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Messamore; three brothers, Cecil Cunningham, Raymond Cunningham and Wallace Cunningham; and two sisters, Mae C. Clayton and Beulah Cunningham Bishop.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Doris) Messamore of Ormond Beach, FL; her brother, Dallas Cunningham of Madisonville; her sister, Ester C. Pendergraff of Madisonville; two granddaughters, Angela Gibson and Kelly Cowan; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Scott McIntosh officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Roger Cunningham, Donald Cunningham, Mark Cunningham, James Daniels, James Pendergraff and Ricky Pendergraff.
