Glenn Miller, 81, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, at home.

He was born on November 2, 1941, in Graham, KY, to the late Ethel Blondena Todd Miller and Jessie Elbert Miller. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.  He retired as a correctional officer with the Kentucky Department of Corrections. He loved fishing, reading, and watching UK Basketball. Glenn was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Loney Miller.

Survivors include his son, Chris (Toni) Miller of La Plata, MD; daughter, Kristal (Chris) Dexter of Madisonville; grandchildren, Tara (Stephen) Wannall , Chase Miller, Ryan (Brittany) Dexter, Ashlyn Dexter, and Emma Dexter; great-grandchildren, Wesley Wannall, Madelyn Duncan, Mikaylah Dexter, Mya Dexter, Gaige Dexter, and Myleigh Hunt; and his beloved cat, Dusty.

A funeral service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Tucker and Matt Browning officiating. Burial to follow at Vernal Grove Cemetery in Greenville, KY.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Chris Miller, Chris Dexter, Chase Miller, Ryan Dexter, Brad Tucker, and Ethan Browning.
