Gladys Marie Clevenger Cunningham, 82, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at her home.

She was born on August 29, 1936 in Barnsley, KY to the late Mae and Herman Clevenger. Gladys attended Westside Community Church. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-three years, Dallas Cunningham; one brother and five sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Roger (Karen) Cunningham of Manitou, KY, Donald (Sheryl) Cunningham of Hanson, KY and Mark (Sandy) Cunningham of Madisonville; daughters, Kathy (James) Daniels and Lisa (Jeff) Gibson of Madisonville; sister, Helen Clevenger of Athens, AL; brother, Howard Clevenger of Barnsley; thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her special friends, Dean Baggett, Margie Thompson and Tempe Phelps.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2019 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Tommy Hayes Officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

The visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and from Noon until the funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home.

The pallbearers are Don Cunningham II, Michael Daniels, Brian Daniels, Jared Cunningham, Roger Cunningham, Jr. and Jordan Gibson.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Baptist Health Hospice team for their compassion and care during Gladys' illness.
