Georgia V. Jones Rudd, 77, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

She was born on December 30, 1946, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Laura Nell Patterson Jones and James William Jones. She was formerly employed at Fifth Third Bank in Madisonville. She loved traveling and watching westerns. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Georgia was a member of Concord General Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Parker Rudd.

Survivors include her son, John (Kristi) Rudd of Madisonville; daughter, Laura Beth (Greg Devine) Rudd of Madisonville; brother, Dennis (Paulette) Jones of Madisonville; grandchildren, Parker Devine and Avery Rudd; nephew, Scott Jones of Pittsburgh, PA; niece, Ashley (Neal) O'Russa of Owensboro, KY; and great niece, Everly O'Russa.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial to follow at a later date.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour on Monday at the funeral home.
