Gavin Nathanial Offutt, 20, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

He was born on August 24, 2004, in Madisonville, KY, to Crystal Tittsworth Offutt and Jason Offutt. He was employed at Charbon Contracting. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and cooking. Gavin was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dustin Ray Offutt.

His survivors include his mother and father, Crystal and Jason Offutt of Hanson, KY; sister, Heather (Jesse) Morgan of Nebo, KY; grandparents, Charlie and Kaye Ezell and Jimmy and Barbara Offutt, all of Madisonville; nephews, Dawson Offutt, Everett Morgan, and Karson Morgan; and girlfriend, Jada Alexander of Princeton, KY.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Evans officiating. Burial to follow at Old Suthards Cemetery in Earlington, KY.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Gary Ezell, Jesse Morgan, John Norris, Cody Pastelwaite, Brandon Seats, and Richard Rickard.
