Gary W. "Bear" Coble, 71, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at his home.

He was born on October 19, 1947 in Madisonville to the late Wilma Oglesby Hicks and Millard Coble. He was a machinist for Goodyear and Alliance Coal and was of the Baptist faith. Gary enjoyed watching UK basketball, music, woodworking and yard work. He loved his family and his grandchildren and truly loved his dog, Sox.

Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Linda Midgett Coble; daughters, Andrea (Chad) Ramsey of Madisonville; Tonia Barnard of Whitehouse, TN and Amy Coble of Nortonville, KY; brother, Pete (Stephanie) Coble of Owensboro, KY; sister, Celene (Alan) Polk of Madisonville; grandson, Clay Barnard; granddaughter, Reagan Ramsey; and several nieces.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Pete Coble officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.

The pallbearers are Walter Locke, Tommy Beddow, Chad Ramsey, Clay Barnard, Rusty Tabor and Jimmy Justice, Jr.
