Garnet Sauer Holmes' Obituary
Garnet Sauer Holmes, MADISONVILLE, KY.- Garnet Holmes, 59, of Madisonville, died at 12:30 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009, at her home.
She was born August 14, 1949, in Cook Co. Illinois, to the late Richard Edward Sauer and Loraine Brevitz Sauer. She was employed with Wal-mart and worked in the deli.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald "Ron" Holmes.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Putman of Dawson Springs; a son, Ronald Shane Holmes of Evansville, IN.; a brother, Alan Sauer of Carpentersville, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday June 17, 2009 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Len Young officiating. Burial will be in Dalton Cemetery in Dalton, Ky.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Burn Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
