Frieda Harris Thomas, 97, of Crofton, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Ridgewood Terrace in Madisonville, KY.

She was born on March 6, 1925, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Verna Veazey Harris and Clarence Harris. She loved reading and never missed her hair appointments. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Thomas; brother, Paul Harris; daughter, Carolyn Jones; grandchildren; Michael Long and Marc Jones; and son-in-law, Homer Pharris, Jr.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia (Jerry) Long and Pamela Harris, both of Crofton, KY; grandchildren, Brian (Angie) Long, Eric (Connie) Pharris, and Julie Pharris, all of Crofton, KY; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
