Frances C. Moore, 104, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Brighton Cornerstone Healthcare in Madisonville.

She was born on February 18, 1913 in Richland, KY to the late Jo Ann Richardson and Wattie Buchanan. Growing up as a young girl she was a member of Hanson Baptist Church and later became a member at First Baptist Church in Madisonville where she was active in the choir and was a Sunday school teacher. Frances was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Moore; step-father, Clayborn Richardson; sister, Lena Buchanan Jackson; and her brother, Jeff Buchanan.

Survivors include her nieces, Suzette Sisk and husband, Tony, Patsy Foe and husband, Tim both of Madisonville, Sharon Locke of Chattanooga, TN, Diane McMackin of Calhoun, KY and Cindy Clutts and husband, Roger of Granite City, IL; and sisters-in-law, Mae Blair of Madisonville and Elizabeth Moore of Granite City.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville with Bro. Jerry Brewer officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
