Frances Marie Collins, 95, of Madisonville Ky. passed away at 2:00 p.m. on Monday August 1, 2011 at Hillside Villa Care and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.

She was born on October 30, 1915 in Manitou, Ky. to the late Noah and Virgie Coomes. She was formerly employed with Outwood Res-Care in Dawson Springs, Ky. as a nurse's aide. She was a member for 60 years at First Christian Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Collins; a daughter, Barbara Hibbs; and a grandson, Dennis Carter.

She is survived by three daughters, Ruth McCulley, Loretta Siria both of Madisonville and Wilma Presley of Greenville, Ky.; a son, William E. Collins of Puerto Rico; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday August 3, 2011 in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with burial to follow. Officiating the service will be Rev. Don McLaughlin.

There will be no visitation. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church in Madisonville.
