Frances Cole, 90, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on October 16, 1926 in Madisonville, KY to the late Rettie and Ollie Gamble. Frances was formerly employed with Greyhound Bus and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Madisonville. She enjoyed playing bridge and loved spending time with family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Cole; sister, Lucille Ware and her brother, William Gamble.

Survivors include her daughter, Luanne Cole of Madisonville; sister-in-law, Gloria Gamble of Tomball, TX; nieces, Sherri Sassin and husband, Roger of Magnolia, TX, Kathryn Jessup and husband, Bob, Margo Adams both of Burlington, NC, Elizabeth Sarfati of East Hampton, NY; and Bettye Bryant and husband, Woody of New Bern, NC and; nephews, Bill Gamble and wife, Theresa of East Hampton, Bill Cole and wife, Elaine of Georgetown, KY, Bob Cole and wife, Ellie of Lexington, KY, John Owen and wife, Sayoko of Hazard, KY, Milton Eblen and wife, Joyce of Myrtle Beach, SC and Mervin Eblen of Senatobia, MS.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in Madisonville with Pastor Lon Lorton officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the church.

Pallbearers are Bill Cole, Bob Cole, Bill Gamble, Ed Moore, Dick Peyton and Mike Ladd.

Memorial contributions may be made in Frances's memory to the First Presbyterian Church.
