Martha Faye Rose, 85, of Nortonville, KY, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

She was born on November 29, 1940, in Greenville, KY, to the late Fannie Knight Peavler. She was formerly employed as a nurse aide and a door greeter at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed reading and loved her cats. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Faye was a member of New Cypress Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Eugene Peavler; first husband, Harold McIntosh; second husband, Darrell Kirwan Rose; and her daughter, Madora Faye Kerr.

Her survivors include her sister, Deanna Blakely of White Plains, KY; granddaughter, Devina (Tony) Kerr of Nortonville; grandson, Allen (Amanda) Kerr of Nortonville; and her great-grandchildren, Shayla Kerr, Waylon Kerr, Lacey Gibson, Skarlet Berry, Hunter Kerr, and Kaleb Kerr.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Beaty officiating. Burial to follow at New Cypress Cemetery in Greenville, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Tony Johnson, Allen Kerr, Bobby Hampton, Ricky Stanley, Cody Wright, and Danny Gibson. Honorary pallbearers are Derrik Blakeley, Troy Blakeley and Devin Blakeley.
