Mary Fayette "Faye" Joyner Arnold-Gant, 78, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024.

She was born on August 27, 1945, in Evansville, IN to the late Elizabeth "Betty" Shomburg Joyner and Letcher H. Joyner. Faye was formerly a traveling registered nurse and worked at Trover Clinic and Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Earlington, KY and attended Christ The King in Madisonville. She gave of her time generously by volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul in Madisonville. She enjoyed reading and traveling. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny L. Gant, Sr.; and her infant son, Timothy Andrew Arnold.

Survivors include her daughters, Nikki (John) Moore of Louisville, KY and Karissa Arnold of Lexington, KY; her sons, Michael (Deborah) Arnold of Melbourne, FL, Jarrod (Mitzi) Arnold of Madisonville and Aaron (Cheryl) Arnold of Manitou, KY; step-children, Martin J. Gant, Laura (Bill) Bebout and Kathleen Barfield all of Bourbonnais, IL and Danny Gant, Jr. of Florida; sisters, Jerrie Gibson, Leslie Joyner both of Madisonville and Bonnie (Bruce) Knight of Hanson, KY; grandchildren, Jordan (Katie) Cullen, Jessica (Patrick) Brigman, Hayden Margaret Arnold, Zachary Arnold, Jacob Arnold, Makayla Arnold, Faith Arnold and Alexandra "Ali" Arnold; several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Christ The King, 1600 Kingsway Drive, Madisonville, KY 42431, with Father Carl McCarthy officiating. A private burial will follow at Oakley Home Cemetery in Manitou. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour Saturday at the church.
