Emogene L. McPherson-MADISONVILLE, KY.

Emogene L. McPherson, 80, of Madisonville, died at 6:23 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at her home.

She was born December 6, 1928, in Muhlenburg County, Ky. to the late Jacob Wilkins and Edith DeLaShmitt Wilkins. She retired from an automotive machine shop. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Claude W. McPherson; a son, Michael L. McPherson; a daughter, Norma J. Lengeman; a grandson, Brian K. McPherson; two sisters, Ruth Lyon and Wanda Rohrbeck.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Charles Roberts of Madisonville; two brothers, William Wilkins of MI. and Clyde Wilkins of GA.; four sisters, Nita Urban, Mary Marsack, Kay Furby all of MI. and Vada Lyon of Nortonville, Ky.; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m.(Eastern time) Sunday September 27, 2009 at Kaul Funeral Home (27830 Gratiot Rd.) in Roseville, Michigan (48066) with Ed Marsack officiating. Burial will be in Christian Memorial Cultural Center (Michigan).

Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville. Visitation will also be at Kauls Funeral Home in Roseville, Michigan from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. (Eastern time) on Saturday, September 26.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
