Elsie Pauline Nelson, 68, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at NHC Healthcare of Madisonville.

She was born on March 8, 1948 in Henderson, KY to the late Virginia and Paul Miller. Pauline retired from Dawson Springs Independent School and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Donald "Bill" Nelson, Sr. and her son, Bill Nelson, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Stacey Nelson of Dawson Springs; granddaughter, Kristen Nelson Howton and husband, Jonathan of Tennessee; and grandsons, Earl Nelson of Dawson Springs and Doyle Nelson of Groton, CT.

The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Eric Nelson officiating. At that time a special memorial tribute will be made in William Donald "Bill" Nelson, Sr.'s memory. Burial to follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.
