Eloise "Lois" Stewart Foreman, 80, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at her home.

She was born on June 11, 1943, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Mabel Warner Stewart and Clevie Wayne Stewart. She retired from G.E. as a x-ray technician. She loved knitting, crocheting, going to car shows, and camping. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Lois attended Grapevine Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepson, Maurice Foreman; sisters, Shirley Campbell, Lottie Clark, Geraldine Whitfield, and Frances Higginbotham; and brothers, Clevie Carroll, Wayne Stewart, and Bernice Stewart.

Survivors include her husband of forty-four years, James Foreman of Madisonville; son, Robert Earl (Marilyn) Duncan of Madisonville; daughters, Ann (Larry) Jessie and Sherri (Rik) Woosley, both of Madisonville; stepdaughters, Marla (Mark) Gerwe of Madisonville and Melanie (Tracy) Morgan of Nebo, KY; sister, Lucille (Clarence) Ash of Murfreesboro, TN; eleven grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Mark Gerwe officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Zack Lester, Ryan Crook, Noah Schneider, Maddox Schneider, Miles Schneider, and Austin Gerwe.
