Ella "Ellie" Thacker, 81, of Madisonville, KY formerly of Pikeville, KY passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born on December 29, 1942, in Pikeville, KY, to the late Lizzie Lowe Parsons and Leonard Thompson. She enjoyed arts and crafts, playing bingo, and watching game shows. She loved collecting angels. Ellie was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Arlena Thompson and Zella Dean; and her stepfather, George Markus Parsons.

Survivors include her nieces, Abigail "Abbie" (John) Petrakovitz of Union, IL, Edwina (Gregory) Maturo of Madisonville, KY, and Treva (Sonny) Hall of Kentucky; and nephews, Ulysses (Kenda) Taylor of Baraboo, WI, Tony (Janice) Taylor of Clay, KY, and Jonathan (Rebecca) Taylor of Somonauk, IL.

A private graveside service will be held at Apple Orchard Cemetery in Varney, KY. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
