Ellanora Oakley's Obituary
Ellanora Oakley, 90, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Baptist Health Madisonville.
She was born on May 19, 1926 in Madisonville to the late Ella and Walter Gipson. Ellanora was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Starlin Oakley; sons, Greg Oakley and Richard Oakley; three sisters; two brothers; and a great-granddaughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Young and husband, Jimmy of Anton, KY; sons, Frankie Oakley and wife, Belinda, Steve Oakley and wife, Lynda, Jeffery Oakley and wife, Sandy and David Oakley and wife, Laurie all of Madisonville; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Oakley Home Cemetery in Manitou, KY. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ellanora's memory to Hospice of Western Kentucky 3419 Wathen's Crossing Owensboro, KY 42301.
