Elenora C. Stone, 87, of Madisonville, Ky. passed away on Thursday March 4, 2010 at 11:15 p.m. at NHC Healthcare in Madisonville.

She was born January 24, 1923 in Spencer County, IN. to the late George Hartung and Ida Hillenbrand Hartung. She was a self employed care provider where she spent most of her life baby sitting and sitting with the elderly. She also worked at the Senior Citizens Center of Hopkins County. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Stone.

She is survived by her son, Charles (Diana) Muller of Evansville, IN.; two sisters, Marie Bugg also of Evansville, IN. and Bernice (Bernard) Buechler of Ferdinand, IN.; three grandchildren, Anita (Joshua) Bartley of Norman, IN., Melissa Courtney of Evansville, IN. and David Daniels of Athens, TN.; seven great grandchildren and over thirty nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday March 8, 2010 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Weyman McGuire officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at Harris Funeral Home.
