Edward N. Choate, 62, of Manitou, KY passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on June 2, 1953 in Cunningham, TN to the late Herbert N. Choate and Minnie Lee Smith Choate. Edward was employed with Trace Industries in Madisonville and was of the Baptist faith. He loved playing musical instruments and liked to go fishing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe and Charles Smith; and sister, Etta Irene Choate.

Survivors include his sister, Judy Bybee of Wellston, OK; niece, April Ferguson; great-niece, Carla Day; nephews, Bryce and Cody Day; great-great-nephews, Matthew and Richard Swearengin; great-nephew-in-law, Richard Swearengin, Sr.; and relatives of the Joyce Choate Allen family.

Services will be held at a later date in Wellston, Ok. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was in charge of the arrangements.
