Eddie F. Sullivan, 68, of Madisonville, KY was surrounded by his family as he went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

He was born on April 29, 1948 in Madisonville to Jo Nell Sullivan and the late William "Bill" Sullivan. Eddie was a United States Army Veteran and in the late 1970's, began working for his father's business, Sullivan Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, which later became his business. After forty plus years, Eddie retired and enjoyed volunteer work for his church, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Muhlenberg County, KY, where he was a member and trustee.. Eddie was known for his kindness, good heart, willingness to help anyone, infectious smile, and genuinely joyous attitude, as well as his stubbornness, which made him the success he was.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-four years, Sharon Sullivan; his mother, Jo Nell Sullivan of Evansville, IN; son, Tim Cummins and wife, Tammy, both of Madisonville; daughter, Jennifer Fulkerson of Bowling Green, KY; daughter, Kimberly Lewis; son, Scott Sullivan; sister, Brenda Muehlbauer and husband, Bob of Evansville, IN; and sister, Darlene Peach of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Travis, Ashton, Hailey, Jordan, Makayla, Abby, Josh and Jacob; several nieces and nephews; and family friend, Kimberly Pitts and her daughter, Katelyn.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Connor Barnes officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Muhlenberg County, KY. Military honors will be conducted graveside by the Hopkins County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at the funeral home.
