Eddie Ray Dickerson, 66, of Manitou, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at his home.

He was born on June 20, 1957, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Mable "Sissy" Weaver Dickerson and Gaither Dickerson. He was a disabled coal miner from Cimarron Coal Mines. He enjoyed going to the lake, fishing, and hunting. He loved attending cattle shows. Eddie was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-three years, Kathy Dickerson; his brother, Ricky L. Dickerson; and mother-in-law, Ruby "Faye" Sneed.

Survivors include his daughter, Kassy Holmes of Manitou; his sons, Fabian (Candy) Dickerson of Henderson, KY and Heath (Ashley) Dickerson of Madisonville, KY; sisters, Connie (Roy) Day and Kim Brown, both of Manitou; brother, Danny (Carrie) Dickerson of Diamond, KY; granddaughters, Destiny Holmes, Hailey Holmes, Alexis Dickerson, Lexus Bennett, Lindsey Gauthier, Lauren Burge, Taylor Oldham, and Emma Jones; grandsons, Eli Dickerson, Matthew Dickerson, Dustin Bowman, Allen Jones, and Aiden Dickerson; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Zach Evans officiating and Major Mike Good assisting. Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery in Manitou.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Fabian Dickerson, Heath Dickerson, Danny Dickerson, Roy Day, Kyler Day, Brad Dickerson, Ricky Thurby, and John Holmes. Honorary pallbearers are Greg Hancock, Charlie McGar, Tommy Weaver, and Kaden Brown.
