Mr. Dorris F. Lovan's Obituary
Mr. Dorris F. Lovan, 87, of Manitou, KY passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY.
He was born on July 17, 1924 in Providence, KY to the late Classo and Roy Lovan. He was formerly employed with Skateworld in Madisonville. Skating was a hobby he loved for over 64 years. He was a member of Life Apostolic Church in Madisonville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Stum.
He is survived by his sister, Geraldine "Judy" Lovan of Lexington, KY; several cousins;one niece and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Phillip Dunning officiating. Assisting the service will be Rev. Tim Martin and Rev. Jake Stum. Burial will be in Star Hope Cemetery in Webster County, KY.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home.
