Dorothy June Woodring, 89, of Doniphan, MO, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Dorothy, daughter of the late Fields and Elizabeth (House) Blanchard, was born on September 16, 1928, in Hopkinsville, KY. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, cooking, working in her yard, tending her plants, gardening and doing wordsearch. She was of the Baptist faith.

On July 18, 1954, she was married to Donald "Woody" Woodring in Springfield, Tennessee, and he preceded her in death.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Dennie Fletcher; her siblings, Helen, Nevalyn, Cissy, Buddy, Jean, Jewell and Mae; and a grandchild, Jeff Fletcher.

Surviving are her children; Ronnie (Joni) Fletcher of Midlothian, VA, Mike (Chris) Fletcher of Goodlettsville, TN, Donna (Seth) Krause of Columbia, MO, Debbie (Jim) McGahey of Raleigh, NC and Missy (Ricky) Sisco of Doniphan; her grandchildren, Tammy, Josh, Alicia, Chloe, Katie, Alex, Briana and Amy; her step-grandchildren, Leroy, Brian, and Jacob; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was a very loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by those many lives she so dearly touched.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017, from 3 - 6 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. An additional visitation will begin Sunday, October 1, 2017, at noon in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, KY with Bro. Tommy Hayes officiating. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harris Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville, Kentucky.
