Dorothy Flynn-Poole, 84, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 9:36 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

She was born on November 13, 1927 in Madisonville to the late Ollie Roscoe McClaren and Bertie Solomon McClaren. She was a homemaker and was formerly a piano teacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy V. Flynn; her second husband, John W. Poole; three brothers; three sisters; one nephew and three nieces.

She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Rebecca Gibson of Madisonville and her niece, Melissa Smith of Louisville, KY; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Jim McMurtrie officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Billy Gibson, Ryan Babbs, Tyler Oglesby and Ronnie Frasier.
