Doris Jean Watts Harper, 76, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on January 13, 1942 to the late Mable Watts and Wallace Watts, Sr. She was a self employed private sitter and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed watching television shows and cooking.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Watts; and sister, Betty Crawford.

Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Hamed and husband, Abdel of San Antonio, TX  and Susan Westerterp and husband, Bill of Kountze, TX; brother, Wallace Watts, Sr. of Madisonvlle; grandsons, Adam Hamed of San Antonio and Courtney McMillan and wife, Rachel of Kountze; great-grandsons, Bennie McMillan of Kountze; and two nieces.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

The visitation will be from Noon until the funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home.
