Doris Lyn Walker, 64, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at her home.

She was born on March 15, 1958, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Cora Lee Dorris Walker and William Walker. She was formerly employed at Bearing Service Company, Harrah's Hydraulics, Oak Ridge Retirement Center, and later became a self-employed sitter.

She was an avid UK basketball fan and enjoyed talking to her friends on the computer. Doris attended Silent Run Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Odis Walker.

Survivors include her niece, Candace (Michael) Back of Madisonville; great-nephew, Drew Miller of Newburgh, IN; sister-in-law, Helen Walker of Madisonville; and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Byrer officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
