Doris Utley Trice
MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Doris Utley Trice, 69, of Madisonville, died at 6:08 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2008, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, Ind.

She was born March 24, 1939, in Olney, Ky to the late Lloyd Utley and Helen Dorris Snider. She was a retired medical transcriptionist at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father, Bob Snider.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James K. Trice of Madisonville; one daughter, Julie Denton of Madisonville; one son, Andy Trice of Owensboro, Ky.; one sister Joann Smith (Walter) of Madisonville; one brother, Joe Barber (Carol) of Colorado Springs, Co.; five grandchildren; and three nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2008 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Glen Hobgood officiating. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, Ky.

Pallbearers will be Tony Smith, David Smith, Brad Smith, Jordan Lutz, James Carr Trice, and Zach Denton. Honorary pallbearer is Jerry Trice.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.
