Dora Nell Willis Mitchell, 74, of Hanson, KY passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

She was born on September 26, 1944 in Madisonville to the late Ivo and Lora Jenette Bruce Willis. She was formerly employed with the Hopkins County Board of Education as a head custodian at Browning Springs Middle School.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Sue King and Barbara Patterson; and her brothers, Thomas Ivo Willis and John Willis.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-nine years, William "Dicky" Richard Mitchell; daughters, Angela (Dana) Classen, Monica Mitchell both of Madisonville and Pam (Dewey) Hutchison of Providence, KY; sons, William "Bill" (Debbie) Mitchell of Sturgis, KY and Richard Dale Mitchell of Madisonville; brothers, Glen (Joyce) Willis and Jerry Willis both of Livermore, KY, Harvey (Betty) Willis of Central City, KY, Willie (Donna) Willis, Bill Willis and Wayne (Beth) Willis all of Calhoun, KY; sisters, Doris (Bobby) Lott of Island, KY, Vicky (Harold Wayne) Geary of Moorman, KY and Selenia Buckman of Livermore; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. at Hanson Cemetery in Hanson, KY on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 with Bro. Bobby Lott officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
