Donald Ray Ezell, Jr., 60, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Continued Care Hospital at Baptist Health.

He was born on March 6, 1957 in Madisonville to Dorothy Ezell and the late Donald Ray Ezell, Sr. Donald was a radio announcer with the Christian radio station WSOF in Madisonville. He was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Mortons Gap, KY and he enjoyed studying history and loved studying the history of Hopkins County.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-nine years, Kathy Ezell; his mother, Dorothy Ezell of Madisonville; sister, Angela Ezell of Madisonville; and his son, Donald Ezell, III and wife, Paula of Madisonville.

The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, September, 14, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Robert Gish officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at the funeral home.
