Dewey Crowley, 84, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Brighton Cornerstone Healthcare in Madisonville.

He was born on October 11, 1930 in Madisonville, KY to the late Omer Malassia Crowley and Weaver Crowley, Sr. Dewey was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War and was a retired brick layer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Thomas Crowley and brothers, James Crowley and Weaver Crowley, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta Crowley; sons, Caroll Crowley and wife Polly and Tony Crowley and wife Cindy all of Madisonville; sister, Gracie Tate of Madisonville; brothers, Charlie Crowley, Emery Crowley and Garnet Crowley all of Madisonville; granddaughters, Cassie Pendergraff, Kristen Parker, Natalie Larkins and Rebecca Carson; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Carl Nelson officiating.Burial to follow in Hanson Cemetery in Hanson, KY. Military honors will be conducted graveside by the Hopkins County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at Harris Funeral Home.
