Dennis O. Abbott, 69, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

He was born on October 4, 1955, in Nortonville, KY, to Audrey Proctor Abbott and the late Sydney Abbott. He retired from Aramark. He enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Marie Abbott.

His survivors include his mother, Audrey Proctor Abbott of Madisonville; brothers, Jeff (Janet) Abbott, Will Abbott, Don Abbott, all of Madisonville, and Kenneth (Marsha) Abbott of Ava, MO; sisters, Patricia Abbott and Debra Carter, both of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Yates officiating. Burial to follow at Hanson Cemetery in Hanson, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral on Monday at the funeral home.
