DeLana M. Todd Thomas, 87, of Manitou, KY, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.

She was born on September 29, 1937, in Poole, KY, to the late Helen Kessner Todd and Austin Todd. She retired as a manager from Poor Ole Freddy's. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, canning, and freezing. She was an avid UK Basketball fan and loved watching the ballgames. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. DeLana was a member of Oakley Home Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Thomas; daughter, Medrith Thomas; sons, James Thomas and William Thomas; brothers, D.L. Todd, Charles Todd, Elmus Todd, and Royce "Jiggs" Todd; and sisters, Emmaline Todd, Thelma Christian, and Margaret Griffin.

Survivors include her son, Keith Thomas of Manitou; sister, Carolyn Todd Dame of Manitou; grandson, Noah Thomas of Manitou; granddaughter, Ashlynn Thomas of Manitou; daughter-in-law, LeAnn Thomas of Manitou; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Taylor officiating. Burial to follow at Oakley Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Ray, Austin Scott, Larry Todd, Tracy Ashby, Marques Dame, and Jimmy Lamb.
