Deborah Hale, 62, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess.

She was born on May 7, 1961, in Hopkinsville, KY, to the late Ruby Lee Faulk Simpson and Elmer Edward Simpson. She was a manager at Ferrell's and a CNA at Citizens Nursing Home, Hillside Center, and Ridgewood. She loved reading, watching tv and especially westerns, crafts, and working puzzles. Her greatest joy was meeting others and making new friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, James "Jamie" Choate; and brother, Elmer Lee Simpson, Jr.

Survivors include brother, Kenneth (Jennifer) Simpson of Quincy, IL; sister, Norma (Mike Barnes) Hooper of Kuttawa, KY; fiance', Charles Lowery of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
