Debbie L. Bearden, 63, of Madisonville, Ky passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at her home.

She was born on June 25, 1952 in Holden, WV to the late Dillard and Betty Johnson. Debbie attended University of Kentucky and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She served the Lord joyfully and was active in her church where she served on the Cards of Encouragement Ministry and was a vacation bible school teacher. Debbie was an avid UK fan and in her spare time would listen to the Joe B and Denny Radio Show and she served as a Girl Scout leader. She was a homemaker and loving mother to her children.

Survivors include her husband of forty years, Ronnie Bearden; son, Nick Bearden and wife, Kristin of Madisonville; daughter, Tiffany Rose and husband, Jerad of Louisville, KY; brother, Rod Johnson and wife, Susan of Lawrenceburg, KY; grandsons, Jordan Rose, Connor Rose and Noah Bearden; nephews, Ross Johnson, Travis Kays and Jeremy Kays and her aunt, Effie Mae Totten of West Logan, WV.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Tondra Daugherty officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions in Debbie's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
