David Ross Cunningham, 57, of Nebo, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Heartford House in Owensboro, KY.

He was born on September 14, 1959 in Madisonville, KY to the late Tina Watts Cunningham and William Ross Cunningham. David was formerly an abatement worker and was a member of Local 207. He enjoyed Nascar racing, football and UK basketball.

He is survived by his sisters, Patsy Morris and husband, Buddy of Morganfield, KY, Linda Knox and husband, Jimmy; Shelia Spears and husband, Thomas and Debbie Hobgood and husband, Buddy all of Madisonville; step-granddaughter, Becca Ashby of Jewell City, KY; several nieces and nephews; and caregiver, Mary Cunningham of Nebo.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Brad Morris, Buddy Hobgood, Josh Evans, Zach Ashby, Joey Lindsey and Jimmy Dunning.
