David Lynn Hatfield, 88, of Manitou, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.

He was born on August 9, 1935, in Lomita, CA, to the late Lila Porter Hatfield and Oliver Hatfield. David was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was formerly employed as a mechanic for Motalloy Company. He loved baseball and football.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robin Hatfield; and sister, Mary Hatfield.

Survivors include his son, Jeff (Diann) Hatfield of Madisonville; brother, Larry Hatfield of Arizona; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

No services are planned at this time. Burial to be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
