David Wayne Gibson, 49, of St. Charles, KY passed away on Sunday, August 12th, 2018 in Cincinnati, OH.

He was born on March 28, 1969 in St. Charles to James Gibson and Alice Clark.

David graduated at the top of his class at South Hopkins High School. He was a self-made man that owned the Beverage Center, Quik Stop, and Electric Zone in Madisonville, KY. David was a Kentucky Colonel and was a UK Basketball and football fan.

Survivors include his fiancé of eight years, Caley Goff; his father, James Gibson; his mother, Alice Clark; previous wife, Carol Beringer; sons, James R. Gibson and Erik Gibson and wife, Whitney; grandsons, Maverick, and one on the way that will be named after David and Nick Gibson; step-daughter, Riley Goff; brother, Tony Gibson; sisters, Karen Long and Jennifer Rieker; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at St. Charles Jesus Name Church Nortonville Rd. St. Charles, KY.

The visitation will be from Noon until the service hour Friday at the church.
