Daren "Gippey" Gibson, 48, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Baptist Health Madisonville.
He was born on August 12, 1967 in Madisonville to Brenda Heflin and the late Malcom Wayne Gibson. Daren was formerly employed with Oasis in Madisonville and attended Covenant Community Church.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Wayne Gibson and his niece, Crystal Denise Gibson.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Brenda and John Heflin of Madisonville; sisters, Delane Gibson of Anton, KY and Kimberly Sue Parson of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2015 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Dr. Michael Knight officiating. Burial to follow in Concord Cemetery in White Plains, KY. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Todd Parson, Mikey Moore, Kevin Cook, David Todd, Justin Carroll and Jordan Carroll.
