Daniel Wayne Gooch, 66, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.

He was born on September 28, 1958, in Evansville, IN, to the late Marie Beasley Gooch and Bill Gooch. He was employed as a Field Tech for Pace Analytical and prior to that was a truck driver for Landstar. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Daniel was a member of Grapevine Christian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Gooch; and his sister, Lisa Marie Gooch.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-two years, Holly Ruff Gooch of Madisonville; daughter, Renae (John) Gooch Book of Henderson, KY; son, Adam (Kim) Gooch of Henderson; daughter, Angelina Gooch of Madisonville; daughter, Savanna Gooch of Madisonville; grandchildren, Trey Book, Hannah Book, Trevor Book, Koryn Gooch, Preston Gooch, and Parker Gooch; step-grandchildren, Dominik, Nadia, and Nya; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
