Dan Jackson, 93, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

He was born on April 27, 1927 in Cloverdale, TN to the late Margaret Ione Burnett Jackson and Harry Jackson. Dan was a United States Navy Veteran, and a licensed agent and owner of Dyersburg Insurance Agency.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Daniel Jackson and Linda Jackson; and his granddaughter, Virginia Lee Jackson.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Alyce Stahr Jackson; daughters, Dana (Joe Badgett) Kembel of Madisonville and Laura Jane Lantrip of Dawson Springs, KY; son Alan (Sharla Bennett) Jackson of Dyersburg, TN; brother, James (Sue) Jackson of Union City, TN; his grandchildren who lovingly knew him as "Pepa", Leah Carlton, Rachel Sanchez both of Madisonville, Jenna (Jayson) Norris, Emily Jackson both of Lynchburg, VA and Zack Lantrip of Dawson Springs; and eight great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Mt. Ararat Cemetery in Troy, TN. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville was entrusted with care.
