Cynthia Lynn Sutton, 56, of Slaughters, KY passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at her home.

She was born on February 16, 1965 in Madisonville, KY to Jean Scott Jones and the late, William Earl Jones. Cynthia worked at Sebree Nursing Home as a nurse and at Carhart for nineteen years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Cynthia attended Immanuel Baptist Church.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her infant brother, Scotty Jones.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-nine years, Stevie Sutton, Jr.; mother, Jean Jones of Slaughters; son, Jordan Steven (Kaylee Matheny) Sutton of Slaughters; daughter, Lauren Michele Jackson of Slaughters; sister, Amy Gower of Evansville, IN; grandsons, Micah Kendrick Sutton and Konnor Jayse Hulsey; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Steve Browning officiating. Burial to follow at Zion Brick Church Cemetery in Slaughters.

A visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at the funeral home.

The pallbearers are Austin Orange, Alex Thompson, Matthew Gower, Matthew Sutton, Jordan Sutton and Stevie Sutton, Jr.

Memorial contributions may be made in Cynthia's memory to the Zion Brick Church Cemetery Fund.
