Cynthia Lynn Hatton, 64, of Owensboro, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Heartford House in Owensboro, KY.

She was born on July 1, 1959, in Madisonville, KY, to Barbara Joyce "B.J." Williams Hook and William "Pete" Franklin Hook. She was a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and bird watching. Cynthia was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband of forty years, John Hatton of Owensboro; mother, Barbara Joyce "B.J." Williams Hook of Anton; father, William "Pete" Franklin Hook of Anton; brother, William (Regina) Jeffrey Hook of Bowling Green, KY; stepdaughters, Vicky (Jason) Lynn Nichols, Kimberly Ann Hatton, and April Michelle Hatton; stepson, John (Ann) Clayton Hatton; stepdaughter, Bonnie (Dan) Jean Stewart; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; and two nieces.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Bro. Shaun Vickery officiating. Burial to follow at Hicklin Cemetery in Anton.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Phillip Jones, Heath Jones, Nicholas Jones, Eric Williams, Mark Williams, and Austin Kirkwood.
