Connie Qualls Rickard, 63, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her home.

She was born on October 6, 1960, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Joyce Ann O'Bryan Qualls and Marlon Deke Qualls. She was formerly employed as a nurse aide at The Oaks and baker at Sharps Bakery. She loved spending time with her dog, Percy. Connie was a member of Covenant Community Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale Rickard; maternal grandparents, Hershel and Louise O'Bryan; paternal grandparents, Delmer and Cassie Qualls; and brother, Freddie Lee Qualls.

Survivors include her nephews, Jeff Qualls and Scott Qualls; cousins, Teresa Ashby, Larry O'Bryan, and Jamie O'Bryan; sister-in-law, Kathy (Danny) Law; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Slaughters Cemetery with Scott Qualls officiating. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
