Clyde Lee York, 76, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess.

He was born on October 3, 1946, in Nashville, TN, to the late Pearl Dawes York and Tom "Boy" York. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Clyde was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed working on cars and lawn mowers. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He attended Richland Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include his partner of thirty years, Glenda Messamore of Madisonville; son, Jeffrey York of Jackson, MS; stepdaughter, Cassie Strador of Princeton, KY; grandson, Kendan Strador of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Richland Baptist Church, 7035 Beulah Road, Madisonville, KY 42431 with Pastor Jim Lantrip officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Harris Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
